AI as the Key to Making Your Business More Efficient
Did you know that artificial intelligence could save up to 40% of working time across all industries? It could allow employees to focus on other tasks. This is according to Jan Willem Van Den Bremen, the technology lead of the professional services company for Accenture's Europe, Middle East, and Africa operations. He also noted that their company has achieved great success and streamlined operations thanks to generative AI. The integration of AI was initially met with a lot of resistance, which is natural because we humans are generally very wary of change. In a survey scientists found out that executives are much more optimistic about AI compared to other employees. 61% of managers believe that using AI will help their company achieve goals more efficiently, while only 46% of workers think the same. This may be due to fear of losing their jobs, but the opposite is true. Because AI will help them to streamline their work and they will have time to do other tasks that AI can't.
If you think that only big companies use AI, that's not true. A survey by the Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council (SBEC) shows that a large percentage of small businesses are using AI tools that are making them significantly more efficient and saving them money. The survey quoted by SBEC shows that 48% of small businesses started using AI tools in 2022 and 29% have been using them for one or two years.
The first AI tool was ChatGPT, which, like other AI tools, can digest large amounts of information and instantly answer whatever question. Artificial intelligence already has pretty much all the tools to help you with your business. For example, they can help with marketing and sales, creating business plans, financial management and human resources.
Many business owners are still thinking about how they could use AI and how it could help their business. If you're one of them, here's a list of a few tools that might come in handy:
Midjourney - creates real images from verbal descriptions or keywords you give it
DALL-E 2 - is similar to the previous AI tool, which creates a graphic image from your word prompts
Upmetrics - is a tool you can use to write business plans with up to 400 templates
Otter.ai - is a tool you can use in meetings. It records conversations, takes notes and transcribes conversations
Motion - is a calendar tool for tracking your time and creating itineraries
Lumen5 - is a tool you can use to create videos

While AI tools are very helpful, it is also important to realise that in addition to their advantages, they also have disadvantages:
It lacks the human element - in particular, when it comes to text generation tools, they lack the human touch. Artificial intelligence tools do not have the creativity and imagination of a human. And they also lack the emotional element.
It is not 100 % - even AI can make mistakes, so its work needs to be checked.
