Try these refreshing summer drinks and add them to your menu

Temperatures are still rising and your customers need a refreshing break from the summer heat. If you don't have these simple, refreshing drinks on your drink menu, now is the perfect time to introduce them. Offering a variety of refreshing drinks can not only attract more customers, but also improve their overall culinary experience. In our article, you will find some simple summer drink tips to please every customer. 

Garibaldi Spritz 

Ingredients: 

  • 50 ml Campari,
  • 100 ml orange slush, 
  • prosecco to top up,
  • mint leaves,
  • orange slice for garnish.

Directions: 

Fill a glass with ice and add Campari. Add orange slush, top up with prosecco, garnish with a mint leaf and an orange slice.

True refreshing lemonade

Ingredients: 

  • 200 g crystalline sugar,
  • 8 organic lemons,
  • mint leaves,
  • ice. 

Directions: 

Properly wash the organic lemons. To get lemon zest, grate their peel, but only the yellow layer as the white one is bitter. Mix lemon zest with crystalline sugar (lemon peel contains a great amount of essential oils and adds better scent and taste to the lemon juice). Blend lemon zest with sugar properly, use your fingers. Juice the lemons, pour the juice on the mix of sugar and lemon zest and stir properly until the sugar is dissolved. Add fresh mint leaves, ice, water, a stylish napkin and serve the lemonade to your guests.  

Non-alcoholic watermelon mojito

Ingredients: 

  • watermelon,
  • lemon or lime,
  • Sprite.  

Directions: 

Cut the watermelon into smaller pieces to fit into a glass. Then place them on the bottom of the glass, cut slices of a lemon or lime and place them on the watermelon pieces. Add fresh mint leaves on this layer and use the muddler to crush these ingredients. Add ice cubes and top up with Sprite. 

Homemade grape slushie

Ingredients: 

  • frozen seedless grapes,
  • edible flowers. 

Directions: 

Mix frozen seedless grapes in the blender until you get a slushy texture. Use an ice cream scoop to form heaps and put about three of them into a glass. Garnish with edible flowers and serve. 

Rossini

Ingredients: 

  • 70 ml prosecco,
  • 30 ml strawberry puree,
  • strawberry slices for garnish.  

Directions: 

Prepare a champagne glass and put it aside to cool. Pour strawberry puree into it and top up with prosecco. Stir gently and garnish with a strawberry slice. 

Limoncello Spritz

Ingredients: 

  • 50 ml Limoncello,
  • 75 ml prosecco,
  • 25 ml soda water,
  • ice,
  • lemon. 

Directions: 

Fill a glass with ice, add Limoncello, prosecco and soda water. Stir gently and garnish with a lemon slice.
